- El verbo CAN. Este verbo es un verbo especial dentro de la conjugación de los verbos ingleses. (A él, junto con otros que aprenderemos más adelante se les denomina verbos modales - modal verbs). Sirve para expresar nuestras habilidades, las cosas que sabemos y no sabemos hacer. Su traducción muchas veces será SABER, aunque en ocasiones también se puede traducir por PODER, (sobre todo cuando lo utilicemos para pedir permiso, que es otro de sus usos). Siempre se usa seguido de otro verbo
Observa su conjugación, no tiene cambios algunos en ninguna persona:
Affirmative: (Yo sé conducir, tu sabes conducir..., etc)

Negative: (can + not = can't)
